Project background

"Ella Rose" is an 18-foot Canadian Electric Launch. After a couple of years, the original modified Torqeedo outboard needed to be repaired.

Our work

Sadly neither the parts nor a replacement were available and the larger shaft size of the current model could not be accommodated. Working with our friends at ePropulsion we designed and had manufactured a custom stainless steel mount to suit the ePropulsion 3kW pod motor.

The result

The owner is delighted with his electric boat motor replacement: the boat steers better and runs more smoothly.
